It is on this island that we can observe a particularly remarkable geological phenomenon: Basalt organs! The shapes and colors of these rocks torn between land and sea are breathtaking! These large, virgin and deserted beaches guarantee you contemplative walks and timeless moments.
Nosy Ankarea located opposite the Grande Mitsio seems to have come out of a book by Saint Exupery. Maybe he was sitting on that beach when he imagined the snake with the elephant in its belly!
